Hi! I’m Tara, a calligrapher living in central Oklahoma. I have two dogs (fur babies) who I love more than just about anything. Remy is a tri-paw miniature schnauzer and Lucy is an adopted mixed-breed. I’m extremely passionate about my love for animals.

I first learned calligraphy in 2015 when I had relocated to Texas for work. I was away from friends and family and knew I wanted a creative outlet to keep me busy. I found a class taught by a local calligrapher and as they say, the rest is history. I was hooked from the minute I put pen to paper. It wasn’t until several months later that I learned that my great-grandfather was a calligrapher. Although he practiced different scripts than I do, it was fun to learn that a love for calligraphy was in my blood.
